Castle Combe is a quintessentially English village offen named as the,, Prettiest village in England,, Within Castle Combe you will find Market Cross and StAndrew 's Church which dates from the 13 th century. The Church houses a faceless clock with in reputed to be one of the oldest working clocks in the country. Castle Combe has featured regularly as a film location, most recently in The Wolf Man and was also used in the original Dr Doolittle film.
