Red Riding Hood. This fantasy painting is from the series “Another World”. There are several variations of that fairy-tale from authors as Grimm brothers and Charles Perrault, but I wanted to portray another Red Riding Hood, different from its classical character.
In my vision the Wolf is taking care of the girl. They are always together, and he is by her side. In the dark only his red eyes are visible. Also, the girl is not as simple as we think. What is she hiding behind her red cloak? Have a look at her hands. Instead of basket she is holding witches cauldron.
Whoever will see her,
She can be different one
And you will never know
Who is in front of you
Two different hands are holding cauldron
Which one she will greet you with ?
