A highly detailed, original watercolour of Aquilegia flowers painted in a traditional botanical art style against a white background. I focused on the beautiful fern-like foliage, veining and delicate sculptural forms of the blooms. I used techniques such as wet on wet, dry on wet, dry brush in creating this painting. It is unframed but will arrive ready mounted / backed using a professionally cut neutral cream / ivory double mount that will suit most home decor. The mount aperture has been cut generously to a size of 8 x 12 inches (20 x 30cm) to give sufficient white space around the image. The mount will fit a frame size of 12 x 16 inches. The painting will arrive with a signed certificate of authenticity.
