A highly detailed watercolour painting of pink echinacea (coneflowers), done in a traditional botanical style on a white background. I focused on rendering the beautiful textures of the central cones and ribbed petals of the blossoms. I used techniques such as colour washes both wet on wet and dry on wet, together with dry brushwork. The painting is unframed but is ready mounted / backed using a professionally cut double mount in an acid-free, neutral, cream / ivory shade to suit most home decor. The aperture of the mount is generously cut at 8 x 12inches (20 x 30cm) to give sufficient white space around the image, while the mount size is cut to fit a frame size of 12 x 16 inches. The artwork will arrive with a signed certificate of authenticity.
