Painted in 2018 as a commissioned piece for a fellow global artist and was a gift for her mum's birthday. The brief was very specific.
A challenge ensued for the initial set-up of the flowers to be included in the composition as they all bloom at different times of the year! The vase was also taken from another source so I had the challenge to make it look as natural as possible.
Luckily, her mum was delighted with the finished piece and it currently hangs in her bedroom.
It's still a favourite of mine.
