Kathryn Olley

My name is Kathryn Winner of Lancashire Artist of the Year 2024, and I am a passionate artist who has been creatively inclined since childhood. Growing up with dyslexia, I often found schoolwork challenging, but art has always been my escape and my passion. Over the years, my creative journey has taken me from graphic design to floristry, but my true love for fine art has led me to rediscover my artistic identity.

After a break from art to focus on family, I returned to my creative roots and have since explored a wide range of mediums, from pencil to paints. I am now a student at the London Art College and an active member of the Lytham Art Society. My work has been showcased in several exhibitions, including the Grundy Art Gallery and Hive Arts for Independent Women’s Day. Most recently, I have been honored to be named the Winner of Lancashire Artist of the Year 2024, a milestone that has truly deepened my passion for art.
