Rocket Lolly is one of a series of contemporary paintings in acrylic, based around modern, classic ice cream and ice lollies from the artist, childhood.
Having produced some Pop art inspired work in the past, I have chosen to focus on some classic memories from my childhood and my modern lifestyle by the seaside in Broadstairs Kent.
I have painted the beach and the famous Morelli‘s ice cream parlour on occasion and this has inspired a range of new work Including Morelli‘s ice creams Sundays, fab lollies and now this rocket lolly.
