Julie Thompson

I was born in Hackney, London in 1961. I have lived a nomadic lifestyle immersed in alternative cultures which have hugely influenced my art throughout my life. I had my daughter in Southern Ireland where I lived and supplied artworks to galleries of local people, their animals, horses and everyday scenario's. I did the same in Wales and then moved to Portugal, living off grid for 10 years, I am now back in the UK. Art has been a constant throughout my life, exploring watercolours, acrylics, oils and pastels. My art is of a surrealistic style with vibrant colours, sometimes humour always capturing the natural beauty of the recipient.
