I love all animals, but there is an endearing innocence and vulnerability about young giraffes that really tugs my heart strings. They stand up within minutes of being born and are ready to escape predators, so much more impressive than humans... and so much cuter!
This little-one was lovingly drawn in pencil (0.3mm lead) with as much attention to detail as I could muster, I have aimed to achieve the look of defiant frailty that is so peculiar of baby giraffes.
My initials are on the front and the back is fully signed and dated. Certificate of Authenticity included.
The drawing itself is 4.2cm from ear-tip to ear-tip and 9.6cm from the tips of his ossicones (horns) to the bottom of his neck. Paper size is 16x11cm.
This little drawing will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper and protected between two pieces of strong card or foam board for safe delivery.
