This is an original oil painting of a humming bird in flight. I love this little guy's colours! I have used a soft background to provide a contrast to the clear lines and definition of the bird and to give a feel of his suspension in the air.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on board. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour pigment, accentuate brush strokes and ensure the painting will last a lifetime. The painting has been signed and is sold in a handmade wooden frame, ready to hang.
The painting measures 16" x 12" (40.64 x 30.48 cm).
