The inspiration for this painting came from Sissinghurst Gardens in Kent. One Autumn day there were lots of spider webs glistening in the sunshine. This is a representation of one of those - although I am not sure where the spider went. I painted this image because I liked the striking image of the branch and the autumnal orange tones.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on board. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour pigment, accentuate brush strokes and ensure the painting will last a lifetime. The painting has been signed and is sold in a handmade wooden frame, ready to hang.
The painting measures 16" x 12" (40.64 x 30.48 cm).
