About this artwork

I’m a keen archer so it was only a matter of time until archery was featured in one of my paintings. Based on the character Guinevere from the legend of King Arthur, the archer depicted here is shooting a traditional bow and arrow. I love her strength and determination and admire her fighting spirit. I also like the historical context of the painting.

This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary wooden frame which has been fitted with a picture frame hanger, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting measures 16 x 16 inches (40.64 x 40.64 cm).
