About this artwork

A key theme in my recent work has been roses because I simply love them. There is nothing in this world more captivating and beautiful. I also love blue, so I thought a single royal blue rose would make a lovely composition on a square canvas.

This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary wooden frame which has been fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting measures 12 x 12 inches (30.48 x 30.48 cm).
