The background was inspired by a photo I took of our log burner, which I then drew in an abstract style. All my life I have struggled with anxiety and mental health issues, so this image is 18-year-old me depicted as blowing hot and cold from one minute to the next. I also lost my eldest son, Kristian, to suicide in 2002, so strongly support mental health awareness.
