I had created one of these in pastels and it was really beautiful and my favourite media is oils and I wanted to explore the same imagery in this media. At the end I wanted to soften the base water area and added medium to drip and merge around with wet oil. Worked brilliantly. The composition of this piece is constructed of circles and half circles with shards of light too. Slightly more to it than at first appears.
