Newark Priory is very close to my home town of Woking. This hundreds of years old abbey was dissolved by Henry VIII. Its located in the village of Ripley with the Basingstoke Canal running along side. A beautiful spot for a walk. Painted 2021 based upon a local walk a couple of years ago when the water weeds were taking over. Made for a lovely. This has since been cleared. I love that the cattle can give a sense of its scale.
