This piece has elements of sculpture incorporated in it, with the feet created in low relief through stitching and padding of the 'canvas'. The piece is painted on a coarse linen.
The piece explores the paths we choose in life and how we are often unaware of the long-term consequences. We can only hope that we keep our feet on the ground and that our steps are sure and have direction.
