George Pugh's roots lie in Jersey,born into an artistic home,he spent his early years fascinated with watching his mother paint for Jersey Potteries.Self taught,he was always excited by nature,winning his first national art competition at just 10 years old.Still inspired by nature today,George combines contemporary ideas with a strong traditional technique capturing the gentle grace and quiet drama of wildlife in his work.
