Gail Dorrington

Graduate of the central School of Art and design in 1981 having studied graphics and book design. Several decades later I now paint in oils and acrylic. I live in the village of Great Ellingham Norfolk and teach adult classes from my own studio and run classes in a community gallery space in Hingham "Harrods of Hingham" where I display some of my work. I am always pleased to receive requests from local art clubs to give tutorials.
Although primarily a studio painter, I enjoy painting en plein air with "Paint Out Norfolk "and moat recently took part inEn Plein Air Windsor &Eton. I was lucky to paint in the wonderful moat garden. I also organised the 2024 Teddy Festival Art Show in my village this year which is an inclusive event for all comers and completed some complicated commissions. I am looking forward to a relaxed autumn!
