Lino Cut on Tissue with a blue backing.
From a study of a Tulip, taken from a bunch of flowers that had been given to me for my birthday. I dried & pressed the flower to preserve it, then made drawings trying to capture the life and energy that the flower once had, preserving the moment and halting the passage of time that birthdays represent.
