I love to paint all aspects of the sea and this particular work shows the tide gently creeping into a narrow cove edged with rocky ground and autumn vegetation. There are also some rocks in the foreground and some posts of an oformer jetty. It is past leaving the sky in shades of lilac . The water is very still creating reflections of the surroundings.
