I enjoyed the challenge of composing the Barking Barrage. It was the first large watercolor that I painted. But mostly the challenge to portray the magnificence and grandeur of this water defence barrier of the River Roding to the Thames River did remind me of the its awesome importance .
It is also the point where most of Londons water sewage is being directed and after being processed , is expelled into the mighty River Thames.
It is of environmental importance.
