The Umbrella Tree grows beside a footpath where we walk the dog here in Cambridgeshire. On all sides there is open farmland with deep ditches in between. Being East Anglia there is a marvellous sense of space and sky. I love the quirky nature of this old oak with its gnarled bark and enjoyed painting it.
