This is a subject that I really enjoy painting- the tall grasses at the track edge almost overwhelm the path through. The Wild Garden is actually a very boggy meadow belonging to a friend in SW Scotland, but I consider it a garden because of its unique nature, its tangle of shrubs and trees growing here and there mixed up with an abundance of tall meadow flowers. It’s a very special and delightful place for me.
