Acrylic on canvas paper. A riverbank edged with the tall swaying stems of rosebay willow herb provided an enticing subject. I visited Glen Clova last year and made a lot of sketchbook paintings. I have now embarked on a series inspired by my sketchbook. The stunning purple pink of the wild flowers was a good starting point.
