I am a retired teacher living in West Yorkshire and have been a keen amateur artist for many years. Initially my work was mostly in watercolour and I have also enjoyed working in soft pastels. My present work is mainly in acrylics but I enjoy trying different materials and techniques. My artwork is usually inspired by places we have visited in the UK and abroad. I look for scenes with interesting angles, light effects, colour and patterns.
