Brian Gibson

I`ve always had a fascination with art and the process of making art, I`ve had a pencil in my hand for as long as I can remember, from being a child and over the years I have worked to improve my techniques in other mediums including oil, acrylic and charcoal. What inspires me the most is the work of Caravaggio and Rembrandt etc and the processes they used to create realism, Since the pandemic my priorities have changed and my perspective on life has changed for the better, having worked in factories on 12 hour shifts and seeing that other artists were making a living doing what they love I decided to take a leap of faith and have never looked back. After all life should be lived not endured.
