This is my latest pencil drawing "Migrant mother" ( Florence Owens Thompson)
It is taken from a famous photo taken by Dorothea Lange in 1936 of a poor American mother with three of her seven children, she and her family had turned up with hundreds of other families to pick peas, but there had been a freak frost which killed them off,so nobody worked and nobody got paid so they starved, and had to move on in California to look for more work.My drawing is A3.
