Year by year, the bluebells march progressively along the dell in a beech wood. Spring light illuminates the trunks of the trees and the bluebells, themselves, change colour from deep pink to pale lilac as they caught in its varying brightness. A portrayal of the energy of "Spring stirring in the wood". Acrylic on board.
