I'm a retiree and began painting seriously in the past few years, encouraged by some wonderfuld teaching from professional artists one in particular (Sylvia you know who you are) and I'm chuffed to be part of her group (there a mad bunch who I'm pleased to call friends).
I've been gently pushed to 'put my work out there' so here goes.

I like working in pastel for portraits (animal or people), and use oil or acrylic for landscapes and my more slightly barmy work. I'm working on my watercolour painting which I think is not too bad - its getting there I think.
I have exhibited locally a few times and was pleased to win on 2 occasions, I have had good feedback about my work and completed commissions for portraits of animals and people.
