She is a 5 year old Great Dane, and when she was only 2, she was diagnosed with Spondylosis. This painful spinal condition limits her mobility, and means she cannot run for long periods. Activities have been introduced like swimming, tracking and search games to offer a pleasurable and joyful alternative. She has always enjoyed playing with balls though, and in the early days, balls were thrown as far as possible. But with the development of her condition, balls are now rolled rather than thrown, and eventually she would sit and wait until all were rolled. And that's how this lovely shot was born, it shows her habit of picking up all thrown balls together and bringing them back.
