Painted from my photo of these wonderful cabbages basking in the sunshine at Kingston Lacy allotments from a couple of years ago.
I was drawn in by the stunning colour combination of purple and green, the light on the cabbages and (believe it or not) all those holes in the cabbage leaves (!)
I love the fact the cabbages are ‘imperfectly perfect’ - not pristine specimens grown in sterile conditions - but shared and nibbled at by nature!!
