Inspired by the June 2020 'Paint at Home' issue, I have been painting some of the contents of my kitchen cupboards. This seemed to be a natural progression from my earlier single flour painting. Oil on board.
PS (Before I get a suggestion that this painting could be re-named 'Glutteny') The big bag (left) has a best before date of September 2017 and was found at the back of the cupboard with the breadmaking machine - unused since a bread-making friend sadly died. The large bag on the right is the only flour we have found in the shops since lockdown began - we shared it with a neighbour. We already had the small bag, partly used.
