I went for a wonderful holiday in North Wales and experienced all sorts of weather! On the last night, it stopped raining, so I grabbed my sketchbook and made the sketch which this painting is based on! I loved the incredible colours of the setting sun reflecting off the rolling clouds and the magnificent hills of the the edge of Snowdonia.
