This is a view of Porthleven, a busy fishing port in Cornwall,UK. When I was walking around this beauiful small seaside town, I came accross a large pile of fishing equipment which had just been unloaded from a boat one sunny morning, and loved the way it framed the scenery behind. The resulting drawing captures the feeling of this beautiful, yet thriving fishing port.
The original was produced using pen and ink, and wash techniques, using acrylic ink in Payne's grey.
