I love the sense of history and atmosphere in some of West Cornwall's ancient towns and villages.
This is a view of Church street in Helston, Cornwall which I particularly enjoyed drawing, as you get the feeling that this view has pretty much remained unchanged for hundreds of years. I can't help wondering what tales the streets and houses could tell about all the people who have lived here throughout their history!
I used fine line pens and marker pens in shades of grey to try and capture the early morning sun, and to create the story I felt that this view was telling me.
The size I have given is the image size. This artwork comes double mounted and framed.
