A still life of pears, plums and a little green glazed Spanish jug against a dark background. I wanted to achieve a classic yet modern still life in the Dutch style, which I always find calming and meditative.
The painting has a cream coloured so-called 'shabby chic' frame which enhances its vivid colour scheme.
