A picture with a previous life. A gift to my model titled, "Beneath the Cool Green Shade of an English Afternoon." Somehow, it came back into my possession, probably for a re-fit, like a ship, and failed to take part in the sail to Australia when she left for a new life. I painted out a leaning tree and its canopy and gave the background a heightened level of focus and interest...it took on a new mood and became a new painting.
