A symbolic image for the British Isles. A combination of what I've seen and what I know of our land and its coastal castle walls and its modern character. It came from a holiday in Devon and Dorset and as an idea was fused with what I also know of my own dramatic cliff coast of Yorkshire. One of the 'not site specific' works which is now part of my 'early period landscape development.'
