Smile Ward

Been neurodiverse my world is seen in pictural and visual, I am not good with words, so I draw everything. I know when I look at something I see something completely different to anyone else which is good and gives me a sense of colour, dimensions etc. I am a landscape garden designer so when I visit clients, I can visualise how the project will look finished.
I have always doodled, left school with no qualification and never had any formal training until 2021 when I attended the Royal academy of Art on their life drawing days and weekend courses. This inspired me to do more with Art. I am currently doing a full-time intensive course with the Royal School of drawing and my work is now coming along in leaps and bounds.
I am a self-taught artist in painting and have had to learn how to use different medias via trial and error. I started with acrylic and now paint mainly in oils. I love bright bold colours, which I am finding in oils I can achieve my visions.
I have exhibited with Saatchi Other Art Fair and was an international featured Artist at Gallery Andrea in Scottsdale Arizona.
I also do commissions and am just starting on a commissioned portrait. I also run mindful art workshops to help people find peace via art.
