Peter Fagerlind

I am originally from Sydney, Australia and moved to the UK in 2000 to live with my husband Malcolm in Sheffield in South Yorkshire.
Unfortunately Malcolm has become disabled due to gradually becoming severely profoundly deaf, has major mobility issues due to major spinal medical issues and a major heart attack in 2019.
I am his full-time carer.
Until 2019 I was pursuing a part-time career as a concert pianist and also used to sing in a community choir.
I am gradually going deaf due to Ménière's Disease which I have lived with for over two and a half years already. This is a very challenging chronic health condition which has many different symptoms.
Recently I took up adult colouring-in books then coloured pencil drawing until finally finding my love for visual art in watercolour painting.
I am very new to watercolour and am currently doing an online watercolour painting course with artist Annamarie Uren.
