I live in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire called the Howardian Hills, not far from Castle Howard. The landscape around here is quite varied, from farmland to moors, Vale of York to coast, plenty to inspire. I paint in oils, both studio and Plein air. My background is in education, but since retiring I have returned to painting and thoroughly enjoy it.
