Homage to Singer-Sargent's beautiful lanterns, this is a study of figures lit by lanterns in evening light. Chiaroscuro effect set against the ruins of Hiroshima Memorial Park. The 68th anniversary of The Bomb, poignant but with a hope for the future in the eyes of the little girl in the dress with the hearts.
