A beautiful detailed original watercolour of red clematis blossoms. I tried to capture the rich, red, velvety blooms in all stages from bud to seed-head nestled among its textured twining leaves. I used techniques such as transparent wash, wet on wet, dry on wet and dry brush in its creation. It has been painted on Windsor & Newton acid free 300gsm 140lb Fin (NOT) watercolour paper using professional quality paints. It is unframed but comes in a professionally cut double mount / back board in a neutral ivory / pale cream colour to suit most decor. It also comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
