An original watercolour painting of wildflower Ox-Eye Daisies I found growing on some scrubland near the River Gipping in Suffolk. I love the child-like simplicity of these flowers and their ability to bring cheer to such a dreary, unkempt space. Techniques such as wet on wet, dry brush, splattering, sponging and resist was used in the creation of this artwork. Subtle details were added with colour pencil where appropriate. It is sold unframed. It will arrive ready mounted / backed in a professionally cut, acid free, double mount to fit a frame size of 12 x 16 inches. The neutral pale cream / ivory mount will suit most home decor and enhances the presentation of the artwork. It will arrive with a signed certificate of authenticity.
