I've always had an interest in art, even from my first days at school. I am drawn to landscapes and seascape, but I've also painted animal & human portraits.
Life can sometimes get in the way of our hobbies and interests. For a very long time I didn't paint very much, just one here and there. But the recent pandemic and lockdown reignited my passion and now it's all I can think about. All the paintings I'm adding to my webpage have been painted since April 2020.
I feel this is a turning point in my life, as I approach retirement age, I'm excited at the prospect of being able to spend more time indulging my desire to create.
The lockdown has also introduced me to fluid art and resin, something that has really triggered my imagination. I'm now diving into new techniques of my own.
