Latifa Walker

I paint for leisure and pleasure. As a part-time student and enthusiast of Classics, ancient history and Philosophy, I enjoy incorporating these elements into some of my artworks. Painting is fantastic for focusing my mind, finding that as soon as I sit at my easel, the only thing I'm focusing on is what I'm creating.....except maybe the music I'm listening to, which is often symphonic metal bands or Hans Zimmer soundtracks, as I paint! Colour, lyrical, and emotional elements of the music seem to make their way into the art. I love getting absorbed in ancient cultures. Thank you for taking a peek!
