Kevin Clarkson

Kevin was Chairman of the National Maritime Museum Art Club 2012 – 2014, Chairman of the Old Royal Naval College Art Club Greenwich and is currently Chairman of Thames Maritime Artists a small group of artists who maintain a relationship with Royal Museums Greenwich.

Kevin regularly shows at the annual Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibition at Mall Galleries in London. He was a prize winner in 2020 (The Classic Boat Prize). He has also shown as a winner in the Federation of British Artists Exhibition also at Mall Galleries.

Recent projects have included a series of historical marine paintings and several private marine themed commissions.

Kevin also demonstrates painting techniques with acrylics and watercolours and undertakes private commissions.

His work is represented in the permanent collections of the Guildhall Museum and Eastgate House Rochester, Upnor Castle Kent and collections in the US, Canada, the Channel Islands, France, New Zealand, and the UK.
