Kathryn Haigh

I’ve painted all my life, inspired from an early age by my mum. My passion for pet portraiture grew organically from my love of animals and through my many years working with horses. I’ve been doing pet portrait commissions for 16 years now and view each one as a real privilege – I understand that your pet is a member of your family, and I’ll work from a number of photographs to ensure I capture their individual personality, so their unique essence shines through on the canvas.
I have a BA in Illustration and have exhibited with the Society of Equestrian Artists at ‘The Horse In Art’ in The Mall Galleries, London, and also with the Association of Animal Artists at their annual exhibition in Cheshire.
