Yet another swimming season is over, during the summer months happy swimmers of all ages come and go in our Bretterbadi, Wädenswil. It is a wonderful place to be on a hot summer day!
When I was working on this painting, I wanted it to have a pre-season ambiance, sunny, bright, and tranquil, a dream-like scenario, a little surrealistic, nostalgic, and romantic.
I am glad that I have it on my canvas, I can forever look at it during those dark winter days.
